Shoalhaven City Council Kangaroo Valley Maintenance Shed
Construction of a new steel maintenance shed at Kangaroo Valley Showground to replace the former structure damaged by a fallen tree. Works included site establishment, service relocations, slab and steel framing, roofing and cladding, louvre windows, roller doors, electrical fit‑out, and external works.
Unicivil delivered the Kangaroo Valley Maintenance Shed for Shoalhaven City Council at the Kangaroo Valley Showground, Moss Vale Road, Kangaroo Valley, NSW 2577. The project replaced the former shed that was demolished after storm damage and was delivered under AS 4000 contract conditions, with compliance inspections by Council’s Building Surveyors and design aligned to the Building Code of Australia.
Scope covered full site establishment and management; identification, disconnection and relocation of electrical and water services; arborist‑led vegetation protection and removals; and supply and installation of the new steel shed including concrete slab, structural framing, roofing, external wall cladding, louvre windows and roller doors. External works comprised retaining wall installation, relocation of the electrical meter box, a gravel swale for stormwater, and DGB placement at the roller‑door entrance. Environmental controls were implemented per the project EMP.
